Hyundai Motor India, India's largest car exporter, also wish to increase its sales in the overseas market in this year itself. Last year, their export figures were like 2.45 lakh units exported to over 100 countries from India. This year targetted exports figure of 2.7 lakh units is expected to be reached, Lheem said, adding that it is looking at increasing domestic sales to 2.8 lakh units this year from 2.45 lakh units in 2008.The car maker is also shifting the production base of hatchback Hyundai i20 to one of its European plants.
